How a pair is made at PT Pei Hai.
Seven stages, all in our own halls in East Java. The clips play through in order; pick a stage to stay on it, or play the full film from that moment.
Materials
Leather, textiles and components are checked in and racked by order, so each line starts with the right stock.
Cutting
Hydraulic presses and automatic cutters turn material into upper parts with clean, consistent edges.
Stitching
Computer-guided machines and skilled hands join the upper, with the pattern for each style loaded at the machine.
Outsoles and moulds
We cut our own moulds on CNC machines and press rubber outsoles and EVA insoles in house.
Assembly
Uppers are lasted, activated under UV light, cemented and pressed to the sole on the line.
Laboratory testing
Our SATRA-certified laboratory tests flexing, abrasion, adhesion and bond strength before and during production.
Inspection and shipping
Every pair passes final QC and metal detection, then waits in the finished-goods warehouse for shipment.
